3S have been learning about the Ancient Greeks. They have been focusing on the mythical gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece. They have delved deep into the origin story of ‘The Queen of the Underworld’. 

The children have discussed this in their classes and investigated why the actions of Persephone were significant, including her actions with Dimeter and her relationship with Hades. Last week, many of the children created their storyboard retelling the story of Persephone. This week, in small groups, the children re-enacted this story. They worked well together to create their own script and narrate the story together.
