Extracurricular activities are those that take place outside of the normal school curriculum.
At Hawes Side Academy we believe that provision of a wide and varied timetable of extracurricular activities is important for our pupils to explore and develop their varying interests and skills. Taking part in such activities can also help develop confidence and resilience.
Extracurricular activities are offered by academy staff and external providers throughout the week after the academy day. The offer includes clubs such as sport, music, drama and dance.
We are continually looking to extend our offer of activities and welcome any feedback you or your children may have in enabling this.
