The children in 3S have been tasting healthy and not so healthy pizza.  They made the pizza, as did Mrs Ward, and the unanimous decision was that the healthy pizza won!

The children so much enjoyed the healthy pizza that Mrs Ward made, that she has shared the recipe to try yourself at home!

 

Healthy Pizzas Recipe 

Base:

250g 0% Greek yoghurt 

250g self raising flour 

 

Method:

  • Mix together in a bowl into a dough 
  • Leave to stand for 20 mins at room temperature
  • Split into small balls and flatten them out to a thin base 
  • Put a little oil (fry light if possible) into a frying pan, heat to a medium heat
  • Place flat bread in to pan and fry for 20 seconds each side. 

Topping:

Tomato purée 

Low fat cheese 

Then pop in the oven for 5-10 mins
