On Wednesday morning, our Foundation Stage children and parents were lucky enough to work with Showtown in a workshop focused on the pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk! The children, joined by their parents, listened and joined in with the story. The children were very excited and had the opportunity to design, plan and create their own puppets too!

After decorating her puppet, Reeva (aged 4) excitedly said, "I made the golden goose, that laid the golden eggs!"

Look at Billie! He was so proud to show off his golden goose. He was so excited to show all of his friends when he returned to the classroom.

Riley decorated his little Jack puppet beautifully! He said, "I liked making Jack because he gets away from the giant's castle".

In March 2024, Showtown will be opening their 'Blackpool museum'. This will be an immersive experience that captures the spirit of our wonderful town and will make you see it in a whole new light. The museum will showcase all of Blackpool's rich history through entertainment and culture! We can't wait to work with them in the future and enlighten our children to the rich history of their home, Blackpool.
